Notes to the statement of affairs as at 28 April 2015

1    The statement of affairs ignores the costs of insolvency
2    Section 176A of the Insolvency Act 1986 (the prescribed part) does not apply in this case as
     there 1s no floating charge created after 15 September 2003
3.   The cash in hands of accountants 1s monies held in the Redman Nichols Butler client account,
     being funds transferred from the company's bank account. The bank account will be closed in
     due course and any balance paid to the liquidation estate
4    Gilbert Batson, professional agents and valuers have sold two vehicles and hold the proceeds
     (net of costs of sale) The agents hold some tools and equipment and a computer which will be
     sold in due course

5    Two former customers owe monies in respect of work done by the company         Settlement of one
     of the account 1s anticipated shortly

6    The HM Revenue and Customs claim has been included as uncertain The Company owes some
     VAT on returns which have previously been submitted The final VAT return which was
     submitted up to cessation showed a substantial refund.

     It is likely that HMRC will apply crown set-off in respect of these amounts and the small
     balance due in respect of PAYE/ NI

7     The inclusion of creditor balances on the statement of affairs are estimates based on the
     company’s records. Claims of creditors will be subject to admission by the duly appointed
     liquidator in the usual way
