The following notes form an integral part of the above statement

1      The assets have been professionally valued

2      The book values of the furniture and equipment              have    been     reduced      in
       proportion to the cash received by the agent

3      The landlord has distrained upon          and removed the computer equipment
       situated at the company premises         It will be for the liquidator to review the
       legality and validity of the distraint

4      The position regarding VAT is not clear but it is thought that the company may
       be due a refund The relevant returns will need to be submitted

5      The book debt and the majority of the cash at bank is denominated              in Euros
       The exchange rate that has been used is 1 14 Euros to the £

6      The cash at bank may be offset against the bank’s claim as a creditor

7      The company may have a claim against the             bank   for £429       in respect   of
       charges which should not have been applied

8      The liquidator will want to review whether the £32,000 injected by the directors
       settled the directors’ loans or was over and above the directors’ loans

9      The Statement of Affairs has been prepared from information provided by the
       directors   It does not take into account the cost of realisation of the assets or
       the cost of the lhqyidation
10       Trade and other creditors’ balances are provisional and subject to agreement
         in due course by the !iquidator Inclusion or exclusion from the list of creditors
         does not constitute admission or rejection of claims by the liquidator

11       The statement of affairs is subject to verbal explanations given at the meeting
         of creditors

12       The amounts shown in respect of preferential creditors, and the amounts in
         respect of unsecured employee claims, have been estimated by the directors
